TRY REMOVE FUSE.

Remove cap off of rear wiper arm. Remove nut. As this is a fine splined shaft, you may want to mark the position of the wiper to reinstall it in the exact same position. Now you'll need a wiper puller. Generally found at your local auto parts store. This same puller can be used for the front wipers too. I purchased one for $10.00. Inexpensive compared to what I'm sure a dealer would charge.

On some cars by winding down the rear window too far the wiper blades slip over the edge of the glass and hold the glass down when the window is trying to wind it up. Check and adjust the rest position of the wiper arm first. Try not to by pass a sensor as it will cause more problems for you . Instead fix the fault first.

Here are some more common problems.

• Motor:

The wiper motor is commonly replaced and was often not the problem. Don't replace the motor yet. maybe it's not the motor. It could be a fuse or something at the wiper switch. The wiper motor has two windings, fast and slow. The wiper switch sends a ground signal to each motor winding. More often, there are problems with the relay, or at the wiper switch, or in the cable to the motor.

• Windshield Washer:

Don't be too quick to replace the washer pump. The problem is often just a clog in the sprayer heads. You can clean out the sprayer holes with a needle, some have two holes, so look closely. Hope this helps.

Press and hold the Menu button until "Adjust Clock" comes up on the display
- Use the "arrow" buttons directly below the Menu button to set the hour
- Press Menu again and use the arrow keys to set minutes
- Press Menu again and choose between 12 and 24 hour clock
- Don't do anything else for a few seconds and the clock mode will turn off automatically

First, probably easiest to just go to a junkyard and get a new switch for like 5 bucks. Second, if you still want to disable it then just locate and pull the fuse.

Push the wiper stalk FORWARD towards the dash and the rear wiper will start. Pull it back towards you to turn it off.
