What is wrong? cheapest fix

as these numbers are dodge fault codes ill assume that's what you have , both of these codes refer to a low to no oil pressure condition , this has several causes an can be as simple as low oil level to a bad sensor (behind alternator) to at worst a bad oil pump

since this is a oil pressure loss fault its stored as a major fault an will require a reset of ecm before it will allow a engine restart (after resolving problem) it does this to prevent engine failure for no lubrication

Engine warning light on dash

Possible that the oil pressure is low , the oil level is low or the oil pressure switch has failed.
Check level of oil, check for pressure of the oil to the sensor -swap and test and finally check for error codes to confirm the case.

Sensor oiel what it does when he is not good

I think what was meant is the oil pressure sensor which is a pressure switch and indicates the pressure when the engine runs. This is very much critical as a low pressure will show up as an error- check engine /oil- and can shut off the ECM.
So if the pressure sensor is bad it will indicate or if the oil pressure is low it will be sensed to indicate for action.-- check oil ,oil filter or oil pump.

What would cause no oil to flow and or no oil pressure

If there was no oil flow the engine would have packed up and you would have got error codes or the oil warning to come up. So it is possible that the oil sensor pressure switch is defective and so must be checked.
However is you still think there is low oil pressure this means that the engine must be overhauled. The reason so low pressure of oil can be fault in the oil pump to faulty - wearing of the engine .

My honda accord 2003 V6 hiccups when I step on the gas, and the right signals do not work. The code P1259 came up and I was wondering excatly what does that mean?

This is an error code related to VTEC related Honda engines. I am sending you a little reading on that error code.. Best of Luck..

The Check Engine Light (CEL) is on. Trouble code P1259. Tests/Procedures: 1. Locate the Variable Timing/Lift Control (VTEC) pressure switch, on the back of the cylinder block, by the oil filter.

2. The VTEC oil switch is normally closed and grounds the reference voltage from the Engine Control Module (ECM) on the Blue/Black (BLU/BLK) wire.

3. At approximately 4000 RPM, and when driving the vehicle, the VTEC system should turn on. To turn the system on, the ECM energizes the VTEC Solenoid valve and it allows oil pressure into the intake valve rocker arms, the oil pressure opens the VTEC oil pressure switch so the ECM can verify that VTEC did turn on correctly.

4. The code will set below 4000 RPM if the reference voltage is not grounded. The code will set above 4000 RPM if the VTEC oil switch does not open.

5. If the code sets at 4000 RPM or higher, the problem can be a low oil level or pressure, or a malfunction in the VTEC assembly. Potential Causes: Low Engine Oil
Plugged Oil Passage
Insufficient Oil Pressure
Plugged Oil Screen
Insufficient Oil Volume
Malfunctioning VTEC Oil Pressure Switch
Defective VTEC Solenoid
Tech Tips: When the P1259 code sets at 4,000 RPM or higher, always verify that the engine oil level is full. Also, if there is an oil pressure or volume problem, always verify that the oil pan is not pushed up and is too close to the oil pickup tube, causing an oil volume problem. Be very careful when supporting the engine with the oil pan.

Oil pressure light goes on --check oil oil is okay. now the check engine light goes on too. do you think i need to change my oil pressure switch?

first get the code that is stored in the computer when the check engine light went on. Most major auto parts stores will read that code out for free. If the oil pressure is truly very low, the engine will be damaged so be careful. Changing the oil pressure switch is a safe move. But if the oil pressure remains low on the new switch you must investigate why. The oil filter could be plugged up, the oil pump could be going bad, or there could be a major internal engine problem. That is why you need the code. It could give a clue as to what is happening in the engine.

No oil pressure "05 dodge ram 4.7L engine

I'm assuming you checked the obvious...and no blue smoke.

Was that from an OBD error code reading?
P0522-ENGINE OIL PRESSURE TOO LOW 3.7L, 4.7L

Could be you ran engine low on oil or went up (down?) incline to trip the low pressure sensor.

and or Viscosity of oil is too thin, in either case get oil changed pronto, reset OBD and check levels often. hopefully was a costly mistake ...yet.

Your sensor could be damaged. Keep an eye on engine temp and coolant. pressure test cooling system if possible.

Good luck
