SOURCE: check engine light

Had the same codes on my truck. cat converter was plugged. I was told to take the cat off and gut it, then put it back on and it would run fine, but that didn't work. You need a new cat. Might want to replace the o2 sensors before and after the cat also. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: it gives me acode p1495 and check engine light

P0445= Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Shorted
P1495= Leak detection pump solenoid circuit

both of these codes are just emission codes and are nothing to really worry about if you can live with the engine light being on all the time they won't hurt engine in any way and you won't notice any change in the way the van runs
there really only two reasons to fix this
1. you can't stand engine light being on
2. you live in a state with smog laws that require routine inspections

Diesel. Reduce power lite turned on. Shut off engine and started back up - lite is off. Can it be driven?

Jerry, Drive to a good shop. So many things can cause reduced power light unfortunately. The first step would be to get the truck hooked up to a scanner/computer and have the computer scanned for trouble codes. One thing that you could try is to drain the water from the water separator that is mounted on the frame under drivers front door. If the PCM picks up on water, power is reduced until water is removed/drained. It could be an exhaust sensor that is reading faulty. Unfortunately from here its impossible to tell you exactly what the fault is because there are just so many engine sensor inputs that could cause your problem. Check the attached links, forums, instruction and guides, Good luck

I have a 530D BMW 2005 model, I found that the diesel is mixing with the oil and giving off massive amount of white smoke. The diagnostic report showed glow plug cylinder 5 and 6. We did the service a

I am not to sure what u are asking here but I would say u need 2 glow plugs . I would be checking the dpf filter as that gives off a light colour smoke when trying to regen and if it can't regen that is where the fuel is getting in oil , modern diesels need to have long runs quite oftern driving around town blocks up dpf in the exhaust the car try's to regen using extra fuel to get it up to temp to burn off the soot inside it prob not running long enough to do it. If u got good diagnostic gear u can preform a regen stationary hope this helps

Oil and engine management light keep coming off and on

Is it a diesel? check oil level, if it is high (over full). The DPF filter is blocked, when it tries to regenerate it dumps more fuel into system, if it can't regen the extra fuel goes into the sump, hence the lights. Dealer might be able to force regen, if not it's an expensive replace filter. Blower problem sounds like a bad electrical connection or possible motor fault. test motor first, by direct feed a fused battery link and work your way back to the switch.

My truck mitsubishi fuso the dpf light stay flashing on the dashboard and also the check engine light is on also and the engine loose power

If your cel is on and engine has derated you will have to take it to a dealer. They will have to clear DPF level in the ECU and then force a regen using a laptop. There is no other way to reset the system.

The problem with doing this is the sensors. You'll have faults with a check engine light. But, there are ways around it and yes, you could do it.
