Question about 1997 Plymouth Breeze

1 Answer

Doesnt start once and a while

I have a 97 plymouth breeze that runs fine, but sometimes it just decides it wont start. The first time it happened i cleaned the spark plug and wires thinking it was a spark problem but it just keeps happening. It runs fine when it does start though but every once in a while it just wont start.

What effects will a cloged fuel filter have on a 97 plymouth breeze????

At most you may have a slight decrease in power under heavy acceleration. Sometime it can cause the check engine light to come on. What is the problem you are having with your vehicle? Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

I have a 97 plymouth breeze 2.0 L V4. wont start

SOUNDS LIKE the engine siezed the oil light was an indicator there was no oil pressure with no oil pressure the engine would have been damaged severly use a 3/4" socket and ratchet on the crankshaft pulley and try and turn the engine over by hand it should turn freely and you should feel all 4 cylinders compression as the cylinder comes up on the compression stroke

Check the in dash lights to see if they are burnt out or you have a bad connection or bad wire. this could be do to having an after market sound system.I had similar problems with a 97 Plymouth Breeze i.e. loose connection.
