Where does the antenna plug in to the stereo on a 2002 ford taurus? I pulled the stereo and it does not connect there. I am trying to instal an FM modulator for Sirius XM radio. Thanks

tried that, it's not there. So far I have found that the radio unit is actually in the trunk. The antenna is plugged in from there and it doesn't have the standard antenna connector.

I have a 2001 ford mondeo and the FM radio stopped working but the AM radio works. Why is this?

This sounds like an internal problem with your stereo. Slim chance its your antenna. I suggest bringing your stereo to a main dealer (expensive) or if you can try another stereo. if this works ok its a problem with your stereo

Fm radio reception problems

Check to be sure the antenna is firmly plugged into the back of the stereo head unit. You need to pull pull out the head unit, then look for the largest black cable running into the back of the unit- that's the antenna. Be sure it's securely attached.

the cable that plugs in for the aerial could be a extension piece and puilling the old radio out could have unplugged this extension?

I want to connect an mp3 player but i only have a cd player, is there a line-in jack somewhere in the car or behind the stereo

No jack on factory stereo. You'll have to use either a cassette adapter or an FM adapter; both plug into your regular mp3 line out. Cassette adapters are not as reliable but cheap and don't use power, while FM adapter requires power (from 12V or battery) and is more expensive.

98 plymouth voyager radio wont work. comes in as static. am works fine.

First start with pulling out the radio and make sure the antenna wire is plugged in. The last owner might have had an aftermarket radio in it and when they put the factory one back, forgot a wire. To remove it remove the trim ring (two screws I think) and then the radio screws.

Speaker level converter

Is this meant for hooking up an amp and still using your factory stereo head unit? If so, you only need to use the four speaker wires. Go into the trunk and tap them into the rear speaker wiring per the labels on the converter's wires (right and left, plus and minus). Then plug your RCA cables into it and connect them to the amp.

Here are the factory wire colors, please rate this solution to your problem, a note any stereo store that sells auto decks has adapter wiring harnesses to do a direct plug in of your DIN standard radio you are trying to install, no cutting of the factory harness, they are cheap
