What cable to cut for a kill swicht

The Safest cable to cut when installing an allarm or kill switch is the fuel pump because it doesn't hook directly to the computer like the ignition wires. It goes through a relay before going to the pump. You want to put your switch or alarm cut out relay on the wire coming from the fuel pump relay to the fuel pump.

My car wont start battery is ok got feul and a spark, its cranking over but dosent seem to be getting fuel

Could be a million things still. Your fuel pump is dead, theres a clog in the lines, fuel filter is done for. On some fords, there is a kill switch located somewhere for the fuel pump. If you're not smelling gas (flooded cylinder), I'd look at the fuel pump fuse or that kill switch, if those are fine maybe replace the fuel pump.

Box fuse picture

old post, and I feel your pain or others land here.
yes, The IMMO(alarm) on the car can kill the engine dead
some cut fuel, others cut cranking.
The 96 prizm/corolla. is what it is.
early cars were (daffy) and easy to hack ,done most.
if the immo lamp stick on what to do. lacking new alarm programming or repairs to same. how to HACK.
hack IMMO 101:
the answer can very by make of car and year, newer cars are impossible.
do not confuse words writting about 1991 car , on a 96
they are worlds apart(evolution, and LAWS)
your alarm box is called.
doors and locks and theft deterrent.
as expected its got a zillion pins, (big job it has)
but only 1 pin matters, (hacking mind set) pin A1 SRLY
im no genius, im just and electronics tech, retire. and can read this print , here at mitchells so can you.
the print shows that pin as P, my guess for Purple wire.
next is the starter pages.
it shows, what? it goes to the starter relay coil
and the non alarm car wire ground there is missing
so there is your fix, ground the purple wire there
or at pin 2 of relay start, ground that.
now the starter cranks forever, no matter what , deity willing.

The AM1 fuse kills the live relay power.
or pull battery neg lug, and all is off line, 0volts.
The GIG+DOME+HORN fuse kills dead the alarm box
or
pull the AM2 or the power fuel.
so will the 100 amp ALT fuse.

all this in the book , the schematic, all that.
just ground the P wire. end story

watch out for door locks, keep windows open , killing this alarm box. as it runs all door lock motor......... !!!

After parking my car for the night the next morning the car would start and then cutoff. I hear the fuel pump when i first start the car , the fuel pump relay is good and bagttery power is good. any

You drained the battery , just get a jump start and let it recharge. now crank it does the fuel pump stay running? Does it kill the car. If it does your alarm can be the one killing it. By pass the alarm you have and see if that start you up

My ignition is stuck in the on position and wont turn back so i can shut off the car

ignition cylinder problem - locate the fuse box and remove the fuel pump relay fuse and that will cut the car off. Then remove the black battery cable so the car isn't draining power and wont kill the battery. If you are driving a chevy cobalt, this is a recall on some models.

CAR ATTEMPTS TO START BUT EVERYTIME IT ONLY STAY CRANK FOR A SPLIT SECOND. AT THE SAME TIME THE SECURITY LIGHT IS FLASHING. WE TRIED TO REBOOT SYSTEM BUT SOME ONE SAID IT COULD BE THE COMPUTER BOX. BUT IN...

It sounds like your starter Kill switch is engaging. If you have an after market alarm installed cut the power to that by removing the in line fuse or cutting the power wire. If the alarm was part of the vehicle, which sounds possible based on your post, you can try resetting the ECM by removing the Negative battery terminal for 1 min then reconnecting. There should also be a fuse for the alarm in your fuse panel. If you remove that it should disable the kill switch.

My 1990 isuzu troopers fuel pump is constantly running and making the battery go dead even though the key and engine is off. what can be the problem?

start with pulling the fuel pump relay!!
this should kill the power to the pump and save your battery,
so well pulling the fuse but pull and test the relay,, it may have got to hot. if it checks good and clicks when you plug it back in!![key off]
then there is a short in the ignition to relay circuit
