Fuse keeps blowing on 2003 Ford Windstar for automatic sliding doors. What could be the problem?

Automatic doors and radii do not work. Changed fuse but keeps blowing. Any ideas on where the short could be? Thanks

How to find out why fuse to PCM on 1998 ford windstar keeps blowing when key is turn on?

IF IT BLOWS FUSE WHEN SWITCHED ON YOU HAVE A DEAD SHORT TO GROUND. SHORTS CAN BE VERY HARD TO FIND, CHECK FOR MELTED OR PINCHED WIRE. GOOD LUCK.

It might be a fuse in your car or it might be you need a new battery.

For my 2003 ford windstar I have a fuse that keeps blowing, any ideas what system is most likely causing it to blow multiple times?

its a bit hard to say but if you remove the plugs on the devices one by one you would find the culprit. anything with heat in the word i would start with as they are a main drain and so would the door actuator as they high voltage use. the rest are low voltage compared to them mentioned.

My 1998 ford windstar windows on either door does not work but the back does. is there a fuse that operates it? and if so, where is it located cause the fuse box panel is missing.

Usualy the power windows are on a automatic reset circuit breaker and if they are all on the same circuit. So if one or two are working the problem is most likely in switch or motors.

Automatic Doors

I found out that the auto sliding doors are just like garage doors.... need lubed, connectors in door jamb cleaned and sprayed with silicone lube and sometimes an ajustment for tension- dealer item.... I took mine to a dealer and drove out 30 min later.... hope this helps.
