What is causing my 1995 Honda accord lx to shake bad after 50 mph. it was not doing it before, it's been doing it for a week and a half or so, any idea what might be causing this? thanx in advance

have a front end and suspension check for loose /worn ball joints , steering rod ball joints , failing wheel bearings
check tires for belt separation , bulges and other defects, including balance
check wheel alignment as it can be castor wobble cause from failing coil springs

Shaking at 50-60 mph 93 Mazda B2600 Pickup two wheel drive

What kind of mechanic, an especially dealer has no recommendation for this? here does the shaking seem to come from? Front, rear, left, right? My first thoughts are get your tires balance and maybe rotated too. check your tires for funny wear patterns. If your tread seems to have a choppy feel or appearance, it is likely your shocks or struts needing replaced. But definitely try getting tires balanced first.

Shaking in left front 50-60 mph 1993 Mazda PU B2600 2wd

I guess my first question is how do you know it is just the left front wheel ?
Have you checked the front shocks ?
Does it make any difference if you are applying the brakes ?
Have you moved the left front wheel to a different position ?

I have a 91 front wheel drive toyota corolla & I was going down the road and it cut off then fired right back up but was shaking i changed the right side axle but it still does the same. at 30 mph it...

Tires out of balance? Start with the simple things before changing stuff like axle shafts. Take the car to a tire shop and make sure the tires are balanced and the rims aren't bent, as either one of these can cause a rough ride

The front left wheel of my car shakes when i go 50 mph or more

Un balanced tire. If it was just changed then whoever changed it did not properly balance the tire. If the tire was ok recently, the weight could have detached itself while you were driving

Why my 1992 honda accord shakes above 60 mph

there are a few things that are more likely than others .. first tire balance .. if a tire loses a balancing weight or gets its rim dented or if the tire is simply worn .. then you need to rebalance the wheels .. this should be done every year or so anyhow .. a broken cord or belt in a tire will also show up when they try to balance as will a bent rim .. this will tend to shake the car above 50 mph .. thats also not a safe condition since the tire could fail unexpectedly .. you might observe a tires tread wiggling when observed moving from another car or on a rack when you spin the tire .... tires are most likely the trouble but a worn out CV joint will also shake at certain speeds .. usually this shows up at low speeds or as excessive slack in the drive system .. warped rotors are a frequent source of vibration . but usually the problem is most noticable as brakes are applied .. the best bet is to have the tires balanced and inspected .. that will give you lots of information .. one more thing you dont see as much anymore is wheel vibration at higher speeds caused by worn ball joints or tie rod ends .. the wheels will actually oscillate above a critical speed . you will often see cupping on the front tire treads if this happens .. that cupping problem can also be observed when the tires are balanced .. the tie rod ends can be checked with the wheel off the ground .. shake the tire left to right .. excessive slack would mean worn tie rod ends ...

Check the ball joints and cv axles this could cause the car to shake violently and most tire stores will check them for you for free.
