There are four resistors in the cluster that come loose. You will have to take out the gauge cluster, take it apart, de-solder the old resistors, and solder in new ones, if you want to fix it. The four resistors are in the top right corner of the cluster, behind the reset button. They should be 150 or 180 ohm.

What is the problem if the odometer of my 1991 Plymouth Acclaim does not work and I have replaced my gauge cluster Assembly multiple times and each time my odometer still does not work.

According to my findings your odometer is electrical and has a distance sensor down by the starter. Check the connections at that point for loose or corroded contacts. If you know how to use a VOM you can check the sensor also. But from the sound of it, being you've replaced the cluster before, if the connections are good at the sensor and its not working I'd check the fuses and then buy a new sensor.

No odometer light or gear selector. tried changeing cluster didn't work. didn't know if it was a common problem. maybe an easy solution before i start diggin into it.

Thanks Johnyboyy & Sam35edm! I checked my fuse (10amp) and it looked ok. I replaced it and the lights for the odometer and gear shift indicator both lighted up. I then inspected the old fuse and it looked a little tarnished on the contacts. I then cleaned the contacts on both sides of the original fuse with a razor blade to remove the tarnish. The light lit brighter than ever! Looks like the fuse wasn't making good contact in its socket because of the tarnish.
