Most likely cause is a weak relay. Find the headlight relay in the fuse box and swap it with a like relay from another circuit. If this fixes your problem replace the defective relay. If a new relay does not fix the problem you will need to monitor amperage draw along the headlight circuit to find what is causing the excessive amperage.

Low beam headlights stopped working but hi beams are OK.

Did both low beams go out at the same time?

Could be as simple as replacing two headlamps.

Ive got a dodge ram 1500. It has alot of problems. The main two are: I have to turn it over up to 10 times to get it to start. It idles rough for a few seconds then runs great till I cut it off. Also...

Try replacing the headlight relay to fix headlights.
For the starting issue, is the check engine light on? If yes, please have the truck scanned for trouble codes and report them back to us. Parts stores such as Autozone and Advance offer free scans.

Headlights will not turn on, cant find fuses, everything else works

These fuses are located under the hood in a fuse/relay box. You may have a problem with the daytime running light module also. If the fuses aren't blown have this madule check.

Headlights don't work.

There is a circuit breaker inside the headlight switch body. It gets weak over time and use. The breaker is actually mentioned in the owners manual. A new switch is about $75.00 at the local parts store. You must remove the front of the dash to change the switch. Mine would go off and then in about 30 seconds reset and the lights would come back on. I would be driving down the road with my headlights flashing as the circuit breaker opened and closed. New switch = problem fixed.
