The bulbs are the ones pepboys told me were right- #9004. I will check them to see if they are in right again. I'll let you know, and thanks!

I think u have the bulbs in wrong or they are not the right part number, it is feeding back, that is the only thing that can cause this problem, and replacing the bulbs is a something being done, u said nothing was done then say the bulbs were replaced, or did I get this wrong??

Do you have the right light bulb? i own a 98 sentre and
it takes a 9004 bulb, but walmarts computer said to use 9007. That made the high beam censor stay on till i replaced it. if you look at the bulb you can tell if it is a dual or single beam bulb.!!!!

My dash taillights dont work on my 1997 nissan

Turn on the hazard switch to check if the bulbs light up. If they do, the problem is probably with the headlight switch itself.

Where are the horn and headlamp relays for a 1997 chevy blazer? My headlights/highbeams will not turn on.

the horn relay is located behind the glovebox in relay center, the highbeam doesnt have a relay, check the bulbs and also check the highbeam switch located on steering column. hope this helps,

The speedometer lights will not turn on when i put the headlights on. the turning indicaters come on solid as well as the highbeam indicater without the highbeams on.

if the rest of your dash and instrument lights work and it's just the speedo that stays dark you have a bulb burnt out in your dash cluster.

Highbeam problems

I've had this happen to me. It's a bad bulb with a broken filament the makes and brakes. If when you check the bulb and it's ok than look to the plug on the rear of the bulb possibly not making contact. Good luck.

you have a busted bulb, your hazard may be working fine but the bulb is double contact so one part is working and the other is not. just check which bulb is busted.
