Flickering Drive Indicator and Map Reading Lights along with fast flash VSA, ABS, and warning lights on 2005 Honda CR-V

The problem not constant but happens some point while driving everyday. The CR-V was serviced at a dealership. Oil & filter, transmission fluid all changed out. Battery and alternator tested good. What`s up

My 2005 Honda CR-V has the original factory stereo. Regarding the flickering, the "D" Driving indicator light and map reading lights almost seem to "pulsate" rather than really flicker. The other associated mystery is the "fast flashing" VSA, ABS,' & VSA Activation Indicator display lights on the dashboard. They flash less often than the pulsating ones. The battery cables seem tight. Any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like a custom stereo/alarm install might have crossed some wires and is causing small shorts. let me know if its all factory still and i will figure out another solution for you. good luck

that kinda sounds like maybe a problem in the fuse block, like something came a little loose and is almost shorting other things out. also check to make sure the ground is good and hasn't come loose. if you have a multimeter you can check voltages to see if you find something that fluctuates a bunch.also when you turn your lights on at night, do your dash lights dim a little automaticly?

SOURCE: vsa and abs lights on for 2005 honda crv

An often overlooked problem when the VSA and triangle light cones on is a clogged screen behind the oil filter mounting bracket and the end of the solenoid where it goes into head has multiple screens around it that have a tendency to get clogged. Remove these and clean gently till any caking or particles have been cleaned off.

Vsa,abs, and brake all work off of the same sensor. You have a problem with one of the following system. Vsa vehicle stability assist, abs anti lock brakes, or the brakes themselves. My guess is either the abs or vsa

wheel bearings could have been installed incorrectly(backwards). The reluctor ring is part of the bearing seal assy and the the abs wheel sensor is not reading it.

Check to make sure that your ABS wheel sensor is bolted firmly to the hub and that the wire that comes from it is plugged in properly. sometimes they look like they are plugged in but are not fully locked in.

2006 Honda crv, vsa, abs, and triangle light are permanently on

You are talking about the VSA activation indicator (triangle with exclamation point in the middle):
This indicator has three functions:

It comes on as a reminder that you have turned off the vehicle stability assist (VSA) system.

It flashes when VSA is active.

It comes on along with the VSA system indicator (the rectangle with VSA in it) if there is a problem with the VSA system.

This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position, and when the ignition switch is turned to the START (III) position.

Hope this helps you understand the problem.
