SOURCE: My 1996 LE toyota corolla gives me 300km for 40

Roughly 200 miles for 10 gallons, or 20 miles per gallon. You should be getting 30MPG. Your fuel is going somewhere, if it is not coming out of the tailpipe it is leaking out of somewhere else. Check for fuel leaks.

SOURCE: my toyota car 5A FE

The head gasket could be worn out between the cylinders and the oil could be flowing between this gap down the bores and through your exhaust this would account for the poor efficiency and lack of an obvious oil leak, check your cooling water and if it is frothy and whitish then I would strongly suggest that the heads blown or very close to it. an expensive and labour intensive job to fix, obviously get a decent garage to look at it and make sure before any majour decisions.
Hope this helps.

High mileage car. Low quality Kenyan fuel. Low on

High on mileage means that the engine has done a lot of work, possible that the compression is down, need to check if this is below level, if there is oil used in excess then the engine needs an overhauling subject to the cost estimated.

Cant compromise on bad fuel as this will bring down the power of the engine.
High fule consumption means poor setting so fuel and ignition , check fuel settings- pump calibration and timing.

My vechicle is taking to much fuel its a ae91 model corolla with 5a engine

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Does your corolla still runs on carburetor? If it is then it's a common problem. The carburetor's jet spits too much fuel when worn out. I strongly suggest that you get a carburetor kit and replace the jet and seals to resolve the problem.

Fuel consumption will surely be good after the procedure.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

My 2000 1.6 litre Corolla has a loud knocking from top of engine. Sounds like a valve dropped or seized and maybe hitting piston. The engine has been running well but suffering high oil consumption.

STOP RUNNING THE MOTOR IMMEDIATELY!!! If it has dropped a valve all you are doing is making the damage worse. Take the valve cover off and make sure all of the valve stems are there. If not replace or rebuild the motor.

My Toyota 1985 has high fuel consumption i have

Did you take it apart. That is my definition of cleaning. Is the float sinking and allowing too much fuel to enter from the fuel bowl. I hope it's not fuel injected because, I only know what you tell me. Most vehicles from 84 on have no carb.
