Question about 2002 Pontiac Montana
I started the van and immediately the security and battery lights came started flashing. As i drove home, I noticed that my gages weren't working either. When I arrived home, I shut the van off and when i tried to restart it it wouldn't start....what could be the issue and how do i fix it?
You could have a bad alternator not keeping the system at the appropriate level of charge. Or check the battery, replace with other known battery that is good and see if this fixes the problem. Clean all battery terminals. Dead shorts in battery can really create problems and sometimes can load test good but on the low side. Try the battery swap first if you have access to one

2001 Pontiac Montana, Been in and out of shop a year now. Started when I had a starter replace. It will crank multiple times for a day or two. Not getting any bad codes from computer. Have had every sensor replaced. Let it set for a few days it will crank for a day...the next moring it will not crank for days. Wiring has been run and checked, fuel pump comes on, started is engageing fine. One mechanic said it was not getting fire, he replaced a unit on the back of the engine that usualy goes bad...still wont crank...the next day it cranks. i am about to redy to give up.....but it has low miles. need some help.

SOURCE: 06 pontiac grand prix wont start no clicking when you turn the key over even jump starting the battery, has dash lights & radio & parking lights. battery tested good. put a used starter & altinator on
Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter, altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.
