Do you mean the anti sway bar? It has a rack and pinion for steering which if this fell out, you have some major problems. For the anti sway bar you should just have to get new mounts and bushings.

Do I have to take the gas tank off a 1999 chyrsler sebring jxi to change fuel pump or can i remove the back seat

I would hope there is no hole under the back seat with access to the gas tank. I'm sure that would be a potential health hazard. Every electronic fuel pump I've seen you have to drain the fuel and remove the tank. It is not a fun job. I would take it to a mechanic. If you make a mistake with it you can very easily damage the fuel pump or a seal and cause a leak.

My 1999 Sebring Covertible steering wheel keeps locking and I can't turn the car completely off. I can turn the engine off but the speedometer doesn't completely turn off nor the cargo lights. So it drains...

Might have to replace the ignition assembly. The bolts on the steering column must be drilled out. There is a pin the retracts into a hole that locks the steering wheel, and it is part of the ignition Assembly. The two new bolt tighten down untill the heads break off so know one can remove the ignition to steel the car.

I have a 1999 camry LE which is making a knocking noise on both sides(more on the right side) at the front like if the struts/ball joints are bad; I changed the both struts, ball joints and the noise is...

The outer tie rod ends can make a clanging noise if they are loose. You can easily check them - grab a hold of the tie rod and try to move it around to see if it has any play in the steering knuckle..

The noise could also be caused by the stabilizer/sway bar. Check the bushings and check the links for wear.

Wheel hub assembly front 1997 sebring

  1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel.
  3. Remove the steering knuckle assembly, as described previously.
  4. Remove the bolts attaching the hub/bearing assembly to the steering knuckle.
  5. Remove the hub/bearing assembly from the front of the steering knuckle. The bolt-in front wheel bearing used on the vehicle is transferable to a replacement steering knuckle, if the bearing is in serviceable condition. If the bearing will not come out of the steering knuckle, it can be tapped out using a soft-faced hammer.

  1. Thoroughly clean all parts, including the hub/bearing assembly mounting surfaces on the steering knuckle.
  2. Install the replacement hub/bearing assembly onto the steering knuckle, aligning the bolt holes of the bearing flange to the knuckle.
  3. Install the attaching bolts and tighten evenly to make sure the bearing is square to the face of the steering knuckle. Tighten the attaching bolts to 80 ft. lbs. (110 Nm) on Cirrus, Stratus, Sebring convertible and Breeze, or 65 ft. lbs. (88 Nm) on Sebring coupe and Avenger.
  4. Install the steering knuckle assembly, as previously described.
  5. Install the tire and wheel.
  6. Lower the vehicle and check for proper operation.
