SOURCE: ac will not blow thru ac vents, only thru defrost vents.

if vent doors are operated by vacuum check for loose or broken vacuum hoses in the engine compartment , or check the fuse box for any ac/heat fuses if it is a electricaly controoled system

SOURCE: air only blows on floor with very little coming out the defrost or regular vents.

Hope you have the same set up, sure you do. You may have either crossed your vaccum lines or when you were putting your heater/ac box back together or you may of pinched the vents somewhat closed. Cycle through the different zones to ensure the vents are moving as your are selecting (defrost, floor, ect...) If you think the vaccum lines are correct then you may have a reassembly issue with the Heater/ac box. I had the same problem with my 2000 Dodge Ram 4x4. Use the KISS rule "keep it simple stupid" start with the vaccum lines and all your wiring to the motors, make sure everything is plugged in. Hopefully you'll find it there before going back into the box again.

No air will come out of the vents when the ac or heat is turned on dodge 2007 ram 1500

Does the blower motor work? If not check the blower motor--wiring circuits--fuses.

If it blows any air, defrost--floor--front of dash? Maybe a problem with actuator under the dash.

2007 dodge ram 1500 air only blows out defrost vents not front or floor

You have broken doors in your HVAC housing. This is a common problem with the older body style Rams. Does require moving the dash, but it's a fairly simple process.

1997 dodge Ac not blowing through front vents

Depending on what system is in that truck you may have a bad blend door motor or a vacuum leak, check around the engine for ant vacuum leaks or dissconnected lines, if its controled by selector motor then motor may be bad, this motor move the door to contorl which way the air comes out ,like defrost or vent or floor, the actuator motor is located under the dash bolted to heaterbox, this may be hard for you to find as there are 3 ,actuator motors, they control the recirculation door then one for temp and last the selector actuator. the best way to locate bad is to locate one at a time and watch as you move all heat controls until you find the one that doesnt move, that will be the bad one. hope this helps.

I experienced almost the exact same thing in a customer's 1997 Dodge Caravan this week except on this one,the A/C would be blowing cold out of the vents, directly at you,and when you put the accellerator down pretty hard, the vents would cease to blow, but you could hear the defroster door flap, and the defrosters blew cold air.Let off the gas pedal,it switches back the way it originally was.Wasn't the customer's complaint, but it did make me wonder.
