I had the same problem after it sitting over the winter. I changed the fuel filter and added water remover to my gas and let it sit over night for the water remover to work and the next day it ran fine.

Possibly a stuck float in the carburetor causing the bowl to overfill leaking into canister and flooding engine? Try cleaning or rebuilding carb.

Could be your fuel pump or it could be your fuel pressure regulator. Yes the fuel pump is in the tank which has to be removed to change it. Fuel tank will be towards the back of the vehicle
