Surely the vented type is the regular battery?
To the best of my knowledge both the wet type battery and the gel type battery are both vented and interchangeable, though the gel battery is often considered a sealed type they do generally contain an array of valves to allow the escape of gas..

Both offer advantages over each other with the wet type battery being the traditional fitment for motor vehicles. Gel type batteries have a history of variable reliability with the main advantage being the danger of spilled acid is removed they can be fitted in positions a wet battery would be unsuitable for.

If in doubt refer to the battery manufacturer's application catalogue.

it is necessary to change the transmission fluid trust me i had one burn up a while back
the fluid is to lubricate and keep the gears running smooth after awhile the fluid gets nasty and alot of metal shavings will be in the transmission plate. if you dont change possibility of burning up your transmission or gears shifting hard. supposed to change filter and fluid every 30000 miles or so not everyone does it but coming from someone who has had to replace a transmission at 1200 dollars the little things help in the longrun. hope this helps let me know good luck

I do not have a manual for my vehicle, can I use a synthnic oil in this vehicle with high mileage


You can probably use it this synthetic oil without problem ... however, there is little benefit to doing so ... and the expense will be high. Oil costs about $2.00/qt where I live while synthetic is approaching $7.00/qt. Still need to change at regular intervals despite what is stated on the container.

What is high mileage? I still used standard oils in my 26 year old van with more than 250,000 miles on it with no ill effect. I saw no benefit to increasing the cost of an oil change by this huge factor.

What is your view on useing "Iridum" or "E3" spark plugs in 1985Dodge Ramcharger 360 4bl 4x4 and 1995Dodge Dakota 318 4x4.


Iridium are a long lasting plug,that is the only benefit.If it doesn`t call for a platium plug,you don`t need them,but the regular platium plug do perfomr well,better than a regular plug,but double platium is need less also.

Synthetic or stay with regular oil ?


I would not change to synthetic. The Paseo engine is not designed for it, and the benefit of synthetic oil will not be realized. Save your money, and stay with the regular oil.
