I have a 325 e90 2006.my engine management light came on while driving and engine was really lumpy.light went out after about 2 miles and now seems ok.any ideas to problem please?

Engine management light can mean just about anything. It comes on when the computer detects a fault in the engine or other vital part. it then adjusts what it can to get you home (limp home mode) you need to take the car to a garage and get them to put it on their diagnostic equipment. Trouble with Engine Management light is that it covers just about every part of the engine so unless you have the equipment and skills required its almost impossible for you to tell what's wrong. It may be a very small thing or something more serious but only someone with a diagnostic machine can tell you

What year manual transmission fits to a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX?

Pretty much any "EJ" transmission will fit any "EJ" engine, the only problems are whether the clutch is a pull or push type release bearing? That will also make a difference how the clutch slave cylinder mounts up. If it isn't a turbo model trans, it will not take the HP that the engine puts out for very long. The Impreza STI manual trans will bolt up, but there will be some exhaust fitment issues where the down pipe bracket connects to the trans.

My check engine light is on, what could be the problem? I recently replaced the battery w/ a brand new battery.

The check engine light is on because the engine management system has detected a fault, you need to pull the code(s) and follow that they indicate...
Battery would have little to do with the light on condition, but removal of the battery may erase codes... Find the error and attend to that.

i have the same car and i had the exact same fault and it was the crank angle sensor, get it checked for resistance i think it should be 1000 ohms and mine was 3000,once replaced it has never happened again.Even my friend who dynos them was surprised but that was 100% it

Exhaust system light is on - 2006 Jetta

What you here running after you shut your car off is just your exhaust fan. Your turbo will not continue to run. As for the oil change effecting the exhaust this may be an issue. IF they actually drained the regular oil and then put synthetic then you should be ok. But if they just put more in on top then they may have messed up your Cat converter...good luck with everything

2006 PT Limited. Engine Malfunction light is on.

First off, it's NOT the crank position sensor...Unless you've pulled the motor recently!
Get down to Advance Auto Parts and buy a car of "SeaFoam" ($9) and add it to your tank per instructions...drive AT LEAST 100 miles...problem should go away.
If not, your O2 sensor in the exhaust (x3) is faulty...look to spend $200-400 depending on your mechanic...DO NOT GO TO THE DEALER!
Good Luck
