Is it making ANY clicking noise when you go to start it? Do you hear the fuel pump energize? Do you have any power for lights or anything?

2004 ford taurus ses turns over barley one short time, makes no noise when ya turn it over.Battery is full charge, lights are bright and dont dim when ya turn key

I don't think any of the previous answers came from a qualified technician. heres the deal: starting the car has nothing to do with the headlights, it cant be a bad fuse because like you said it turns over once, the alternator has nothing to do with the starting of the car, and fuel pump wont keep the car from turning over.
follow these steps in order
FIRST, take your battery to an auto parts store and have it checked, even if it shows a full charge it can still be bad.
if the battery test good, clean both battery terminals well. starting the car requires a lot more energy from your battery then the headlights, so even with bright lights there could still be an issue with the terminals.
if the car still wont start, check the battery cable itself for corrosion, if corrosions present replace the cable.
next check the ground wire from the battery to the frame of the car. make sure it has a clean connection on the frame.
if these are good and still wont turn over, then replace the starter.

2003 saturn ion wont turn over at all dont even get the usall starter clicking just one click every once in awhile

How to voltage drop test starter motor circuit Looking at a wiring diagram an testing the starter circuit with a DMM - digital multi-meter is the way to find the problem . Free wiring diagram's here Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size. Under system click on engine then under subsystem click on starting . Click the search button then the blue link .
Looking at the diagram you will see this starting circuit is computer controlled . Ignition switch is a low voltage input to the BCM - body control module. A message to the ECM - engine computer from the BCM requesting a start over the serial data network (class2) will energize the relay sending B+ voltage to the S terminal on the starter solenoid . Your best bet mite be to have it towed to a qualified repair shop.

When jumped my truck runs but wont start again. i replaced battery and it still wont start

check the resistance on the wires from the battery to your fuse panel and your ground wires also check to make sure you have good connections inside your fuse box if all is good there try to bench test the starter by applying a direct 12 volt power supply to.

Bulldozer quit running now it wont turn over or do anything

check your ground on your starter/starter relay/ground from battery, possibly even a bad start key/switch. Are all your "kill" switches engaged (clutch pedal/brake/seat/door, etc). Since I dont know the model of your bulldozer I am just suggesting the basics. Good Luck

Engine won't start and if starter is replaced does it have any other problems

Engine wont start. If car battery voltage is low then engine wont start. The fully charged battery will show 12 volt. But if battery is showing 12 volt. Then check the battery to starter connection. If that is also checked ok then check voltage for starter itself. The starter is also a 12 volt part. But if the starter is faulty then it has to be replaced. If you start the car but if its not starting then its starter fault. But if the car makes cranking noise but its not getting turn over then there are many other possibilities. But if the car is not even cranking then its faulty starter.Get this checked and confirmed before replacing any part. This should help.Thanks. My car wont start some times it does some times it dont and when it does i have to drive along distance before turning it off cause it wont start again. when i turn the key all the lights are on and the...

If the battery is good and the alternator is charging, check to see if you are getting good voltage at the starter. It could be the starter or it could be your battery cables are needing replacement. I assume you have cleaned your battery terminals....that's actually the first thing to check.

if car wont start.make sure your battery volts are 12.5.if not charge battery.or replace it if dont hold a charge.if battery is good engine wont turn over.make sure battery cables is clean and tight if all good no start .have starter and starter solenoid check.if battery and starter is good.check for fuel .has some one turn ignition to the on position.go to rear of car listen for fuel pump noise.if your hear fuel pump check ignition system for spark.go to auto parts place buy a spark tester.if you get no spark .check .ignition fuses and ignition module.if you hear no fuel pump.replace relay or fuse.if if fuse and relay good replace fuel pump.if every thing good .your car could have crank sensor problem. or your car is in theft deterrant mode.if so have your car towed in and scanned.

It wont start

Hi I am Vortash .. check your earth leads from the battery to the chassis and from the chassis to the engine , check the starter solenoid usually you can see them better from underneath , always attached at the clutch starter ring on the bell housing between the gearbox and the engine . check ignition switch .. and of course battery and alternator .. if you never used lights the previous night ( early evening before light up ) the car may not have been charging and you just where lucky to get home on the juice in the battery but not enough to start it now .. hope this helps regards Vortash .
