Question about 1995 Geo Prizm

1 Answer

When I go to start my 1995 Geo prism it is very hard to start especially if it has been started 2 or 3 times before within a couple of hours. I can usually get it to start eventually but in the process have flooded it. It is getting increasingly difficult to get it to start even when it is cold. I have been using the Lucas fuel injector cleaner in the gas thinking it was dirty fuel injectors.

Why does my abs light come on in my 1995 Geo Prism?

Hi
The Lord Grant You Peace!!!
My ABS light was on for a long time in my 1995 Geo. I never did fix it. I just drove it in the winter as if I had no ABS system and got along fine.

95 geo tracker starts great when really cold, but hard starting when warm. You have to floor accelerator to get it started.

When was last tune up? Plugs, wires all fluids & filters - especially fuel filter??? I'd start there and run a good fuel system cleaner through it.

Car wont start

well i don't know if this applies to the prism, but let me give you my own experience. I had a Toyoto Camry. Every morning, especially in the wintertime, i experienced the same "clicking noise" In the beginning, i couldn't permanent fix, but what i did to get the car started was to pump the gas pedal, and then usually it would start.

Later, I went into get it serviced, and they said that the battery was getting old, and needed replacing. I replaced it, and the problems went away.
