I haven't bought from them in a while but I used to get some great deals on low mileage engines from here.

Easiest is to call one of the engine/tranny shops in your area. The other would be to look up on craigslist in your area and look for some one that is parting out your have a popular year/make and shouldn't have too much of a problem finding one. Look for a car that got t-boned or rearend damage...stay away from the "the motor is still good" ad.....if the front end was damaged.

1998 Honda accord v6 fwd

if you are not familiar with transmissions dont try it it is quite difficult it may not even be the tranny going bad it may be the shift sensor if your check engine light is on go by a check engine tool at autozone for 25.00 and check the code se what is says if it is the tranny sensor it should come op and that will be alot cheaper but if you do replace i would go new cant beat new rebuilt tranniesare not guarenteed when installed by owner anyway hope that helps

1991 Honda Accord tranny not shifting..

the first thing that needs to be checked is the fluid level. it may have a leak and has now gotten too low to move car. check the trans oil dipstick with vehicle running in park on flat ground. if it is low, top it off with dex lll trans oil and see if it moves better. if restored to normal shifting, ck for leakage. dont fix the leak first without checking for normal shifting down the road, you could be wasting time and money if any damage has occurred.
