Question about 2007 Saturn ION-2 Quad Coupe
For months now, I have been dealing with an issue where when making frequent stops, my Saturn ION 2 will not want to start again. The car always starts on the first try in the day, but sometimes, especially when the weather tends to be colder, and after making a few quick stops, the car doesn't want to start up again. Sometimes this issue will happen after putting the car in reverse then parking. After this occurs, I will wait 10 minutes or so, and sometimes the car will start but not kick over, and after a few more minutes, the car will finally start and run as usual. We currently have the car in the shop, but our mechanic cannot find the source of the issue. We are worried if this problem does not get found, the car will need more extensive work to repair... Any suggestions???
It sound like you have a faulty ignition switch the grease inside of your switch solidifies which does not allow proper contact
