Then you will have to solder a new section in to connect the power source to the drivers door.

The best place to start is take it an have it checked for DTC'S -diagnostic trouble codes ! Not with a code reader ,as these just read OBD2 codes .Not Body control module codes >

Hello I have a 1997 Honda civic ex coupe manual trans, my issue is that the power lock won't work and the passenger side window doesn't work either, the only one working is the driver side power window...

Most probable cause , ,,, when you open & close the door, the wires in the rubber boot (accordian like) harness in between the door hinges, get cut and will cause alot if issues, without burning a fuse !

Drivers door no power to lock mirra door panel light right door works

Re-Check the reconnection of the wires you drilled through, very important that you found and corrected all damaged wires. Did you insulate splices with electrical tape or shrink wrap?

The car with the problem is a 1994 Olds Ciera S four door. No power to any of the power windows. I have confirmed that if I take a battery and hook it to the driver side window controls, then all the cars...

pecoslarry, One of the most common problems with power windows is the wires coming from the door to the vehicle. Seeing that you have confirmed that the windows work with a different power source tells me that you should cut the rubber boot, that goes from the door to the vehicle, open and check for any broken wires. This happens because the drivers door is the one opened most often and the wires get bent back and forth until they break. You seem to have done everything else that I would have suggested so try this and No there is no inline fuse. Good luck with this.

Sounds like you have a short to power. there are several wires that connect to your radio and console . one is the ignition wire that kills power to the radio and console when the key turns off. What has probably happened is that wire has found a constant power source from another wire and it constantly stays on. finding this short is very difficult because it is under the dash so you might want to take it to a professional. Also if the van has the feature where the radio doesnt cut off until you open the doors, then your short may be somewhere in the sensors on the doors.

Audi A4 driver door no power

A typical problem for the newer A4's. The rubber tube that goes from the body of the car to the door will flex enough to short the wires out. If you remove the rubber boot and slide it back you can inspect which wires shorted out. I am 99 percent sure this is your problem, I have seen this in 4 other a4's. Hope this helps!

Circut breaker for the Power locks ,remote and power drivers seat

Try unplugging the power to the seat, and see if the locks will work and the breaker cools off. If not, you may have a short in the door jam where all your wires go through.

I changed Radio in 2005 chevy radio.....

I'm guessing you installed an aftermarket radio.
The body control module (separate computer used to control all functions not engine related). When the door is opened, it is pulling power from the "memory" of the other items, and they are losing their configuration. You need to disconnect the power wire for the radio that you are currently using, and install another power wire from a 12V+ source. Don't go cutting just any wires if you are uncertain what they connect to. If you can't find a reliable power source, you can run power from the battery, but always use a fuse at the closest point to the battery to prevent a fire if the wire gets shorted to ground. It will blow the fuse instead of causing damage.

I had same problem it is a ground wire broken in the harness rubber boot between dthe driver door. Peel back the rubber that protects wires and you will find broken ground wire(black) add a piece of wire solder and wrap with electrical tape put rubber boot back into door everything should work.
