Pull off your dog box and replace them one at a time. Get the AC Delco wires, and they will last longer also.

My 94 gmc safari van wont crank until i clean the soot off the plugs then runs 10 minutes dies wont crank until i clean soot off plugs it wont stay running whats wrong?

just a guess but check if you have the right spark plugs for you van. spark plugs have a heat range. the right plugs for your van are AC R 43TS If you have a V6 engine. Also check your plug wires or just replace them. I would also check distributor cap and rotor. these parts are inexpensive, I would just replace them and see if that fixes the problem. if you did this already I don't know what to tell you know I will research my owners manual if I find something else I will pass info to you.

Had the spark plugs and plug wires changed on my 1994 GMC Safari minivan, and now it runs very rough. If I stop, the engine shuts off. Backfires a lot also. The whole van shakes bad going down the road....

If your Safari did not expecience these systoms prior to you changing the plugs and ignition wires, then you may have crossed two or more of these wires when they were repalced.

I have a 94 gmc safari wont start have 60 psi fuel good spark new plugs wires cap, rotor this p.o.s is getting to be a pain

Check the Ignition module, it's located under the rotor in the distributor cap. It's common for condensation to form there causing corrosion. Start with checking the wires for corrosion and then check the Ignition Module. Auto Zone sells them for around $45.00 and will have the step by step instructions to replacing it. Good luck and here is a link for you.

Spark plug issues on GMC Safari early 90's.

The simple fix would be to get a ratchet and spark plug socket and tighten them. First remove the plug wire from the plug and then use the socket to tighten them one at a time so you do not get the wires mixed up as to which one goes to which spark plug. Tighten them slowly to avoid breaking one of them but do not over tighten them either.
