Question about 1998 BMW 3 Series
My car a 2005 bmw X3 was recently stolen with my spare key inside and i am worried about the thief using the same key to steal my car again. So i need some advice on how to get a new key lock installed in my car.
Bmw can reprogram to computer code that is used to start the car, you don't need to change keys, just the computer code. Bmw place can do this...

You will only be able to have this done at a BMW dealer because of the style of keys that is used. It will proably be very costly, so I would look into seeing if insurance would cover it.
