Question about 1999 Ford Taurus

1999 taurus noise like in a plane

The noise sounds like loud road noise which can be felt mildly in the car and on the accelerator. it corresponds directly with the speed of the car and not the rpms. i believe its coming from the front left but not positive. new rack and pinion (before noise) and front brakes(after noise). rotated tires- no change. no squealing- hub covers not hot. could it be bearings, u joints, motor mounts, other...?

JUST GOT TWO NEW FRONT TIRES,(AND BALANCING). NOW THERE IS A CONSTANT NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT END AND GETS LOUNDER AS ITS ACCELERATED. SOUNDS LIKE A RUBBING OR HUMMING NOISE.

Sounds like a wheel bearing or bearings going bad.

Humming or 'howling' noises are indicative of a bad wheel bearing especially on acceleration.

Good luck on this repair.

Try rear wheel bearings. The cause a roaring noise that increases with acceleration. Sounds very similar to loud road noise.
