Question about 2005 Lincoln Aviator
The park light on the gear shift stays on for 10 minutes after the vehicle is shut off. Is that normal? Seems to run the battery down and haven't noticed it until now.
On my 2004 Aviator, the indicator was lit all the time, and it did kill the battery if I didn't drive it every day. The dealer stated it should only remain lit for 20 minutes, and replaced the shift assembly. Sounds like they shortened the illumination time to 10 minutes.
