It is not that expensive you can get this from a toyota dealer and do it yourself just loosen the nut and replace old arm with the new and switch the blade

I have a golf 1 and the wipers are not working but the fuse and motor is ok

a golf toyota ?
really?
the wipers form a 3 part system.
battery (fuse)
switch
wiper. (it might even be a simple jamp , LOOK)
one of these is bad.
in a shop we dont guess we use a voltmeter.

if no meter guess away, change the parts, 1 by one
say Guessing (id never) but... the young seem to love this.....
least expensive to most.?
or easy to hard.?
it's your call, your way, your $$ wasted cash, for parts.
why not ask a mechanic to fix your car.
what if you make it worse, easy.
ever taken down a steering wheel assembly ,ever.
and defeated those lethal air bags first? i bet not.?

the motor btw has a switch inside, and can fail too.
so saying the motor works , how would you know that.????

here the motor has 2 power pins.
one is start up pin
and other is keep alive.
the first starts the motor, then the motor is sustained.
even if the column lever switch is turned off.
both fuctions in the motor casing can and do fail.
1: fails to start
2: fails to sustain.

so tell me how you tested the motor, i bet not correctly
am i right, (i rebuilt many a wiper motor box)

My rear window wiper is not sweeping when i turn on the switch, but it is spraying

sounds like the wiper motor either went bad or it is somehow stuck on something or something is stuck on it. most likely just a bad wiper motor which should be an easy fix and not to expensive. good luck

How does one change the wiper blades (front and back) on a 2004 Toyota Sienna minivan?

Pretty simple, they both just snap out of the connector on the wiper arms. If you buy your wipers at Walmart or most major parts stores they will install them for free.

2000 Elantra- wipers were frozen with ice. Switch turned on and something "broke". Wipers no longer work. How do I fix the problem?

pop the hood, the wiper motor should be on the firewall, take it off and start from there. it seems like the arm snapped (or fell off hopefully), easy fix.
next time just flip the wipers up when its icy, if you can remember to

Snapped wiper control arm

Hi there. the wiper control arm, if it is the outer one it can be easy to replace.
Just remove the cap at the bottom of the arm, there is a nut. Unscrew the nut and put the new arm on.
It's that easy!!
Ps Before you do this make sure the arm is at the position from when it start's from, that way you will have it right.

I hope it help's
