It will freeze it will cut down the high heat ability compared with antifreeze mixed with water it will also cut down the corrosion ability. Add distilled water not tap water!! also use the antifreeze made for the car like Zerex for Chrysler you can get at Napa Auto. Don't mix unless you have to if you mix 5year antifreeze with regular it is only as good as regular

I just rolled my 98 buick skylark i want to know how to repair it and how much it would cost

with out knowing exactly how long it was running for upside down I would suggest that the engine is damaged It may have a hydraulic lock in a cylinder ( full of water)
If the car was upside down, I imagine considerable body and panel damage
Best advice is to save your money , junk it and get another mobile car.

2007 chrysler pt cruiser overheats

Well it is not that old, so first I'd check the coolant cap for damage or leaks-check and replace that cap. If this does not cure it, you might have a major problem like a blown head gasket, do not run it to the point that it overheats until you make sure the antifreeze is up to full and the cap is good-then start looking for leaks, and check the oil and the antifreeze for contamination (oil in antifreeze or antifreeze in oil)-either needs to be fixed, and the less you run it if these conditions exist the better your chances of limiting the damage.

My toyota after along drive white smoke comes out off the silencer could it be the turbo because the turbo shaft play.

White smoke is caused by water and or antifreeze entering the cylinder, and the engine trying to burn it with the fuel. The white smoke is steam. There are special gaskets (head gaskets are the primary gaskets) that keep the antifreeze from entering the cylinder area. The cylinder is where the fuel and air mixture are being compressed and burned. Any amount of antifreeze that enters this area will produce a white steam that will be present at the tailpipe area.
Check to see if the proper amount of antifreeze is inside the radiator and the overflow bottle. Also check to see if antifreeze has contaminated the engine oil. You can look at the engine oil dipstick, or look at the under side of the engine oil filler cap. If the oil is contaminated with antifreeze, it will have the appearance of a chocolate milkshake. Do not start the engine if the oil is contaminated with antifreeze, as serious internal engine damage can result.

Water is boiling when moter is turned off and the water looks rusty but is not over heating 2001 pt crusier

Drain, FLUSH ENGINE and replace coolant with 50/50 pre-diluted antifreeze. You should never have rusty looking coolant, some one has obviously put water in the coolant system at some point. NEVER put just water into a cooling system. ALWAYS use 50/50 antifreeze/coolant ONLY of the type recommended by manufacturer. Poor coolant system maintenance will cause overheating and subsequent cooling system parts damage and engine damage/failure.

What could make my 1999 chevy malibu overheat

Low antifreeze caused by a leaky hose or radiator, really dirty antifreeze(should be changed every two years), or stuck thermostadt. In any case, time for immediate repair, as any postponement may result in permanent (and very expensive) engine damage. Hope this helps-Jim

What type of antifreeze can i use?

if you are just adding antifreeze to the cooling system you are safe to use a 50/50 mix that you can get at any auto part store. if you are adding antifreeze to the system after doing a repair ( empty system ) then you will want to get a full ( 100% ) strength antifreeze and add water to it to the correct water/antifreeze ratio depending on the air temp of the area of the world you live in.

What could be causing oil to leak into my antifreeze?

You either have a cracked cylinder head or a leaking cylinder head gasket.

I'm replacing my water pump in my 1991 acura legend. Which antifreeze is best?

Any is good , just try to match the color of what you had there before , usually it's green or yellowish.(cause you'll still have some left overs even after draining from the block , so if you mix some differnt colors it may turn to dirty ugly mixture , not even clear sometimes).
Don't use coolant for american cars.

Leaking antifreeze

the location of the leak needs to be identified. it could be as simple as a hose or a leak in the block. sounds like you need to find a trusted technician to find the source of the leak and repaired before it causes more substancial damage.
