Yes you can. The security, antitheft, or passlock light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterperates this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle.

I changed the starter with new as old one was not turning. After replacing new starter my truck does not crank and start, Please help me to start my Truck. Anti theft light is blinking all the time.

You solved your own problem.
The anti-theft system is probably keeping it from starting.
Get the system checked out and you may find the problem is the chip in the key.

How to disable the vats security system on my 2001 oldsmobile alero?

you cant disable it, its a pass key system not a vats system (vats reads a resistance value in the key). The ignition cylinder has a sensor in it that measures a rotating resistance (then translates into a voltage reading) that the bcm reads to let the car know to start. Usually you can try and start the car, then the security light will start flashing - leave the key in the on position for ten minutes until the security light goes out. Then turn the key off, wait, then try and restart - they usually relearn the code after the first 10 minute try. Sometimes it takes three 10 minute cycles.

My 92 Cadillac Eldorado security light is on and starting disabled due to theft system I replaced the ignition cylinder and had new keys made by GM dealer and still will not start still displays same...

A quick fix would be to remove the security systems fuse, disabling it. Assuming this was the only problem and your alright without the security system this is a workable fix.

2006 vw new beetle tdi wont start or even try to crank. gage lights are on.

1. Could be faulty key/flat key battery not disabling the security system
Solution - Try your spare key and see if that works

2. Could be low battery - check battery voltage (Lights are LED and will run on super low voltages)

3. Ignition switch failures are super common on VW's. But you need to check the other 2 first.

03 f150 will not start(security light flashing). Turn switch on, wait to see if light flashes, if light stays on truck will start. May start twice then back to switch off & on check for flashing. Can I...

There is no way to disable the immobilizer ( that would defeat the purpose of it ), the question I have, do you have another RFID tag on the ring with the truck key ( speed pass, another Ford key, etc ) ?

If you have these on the same ring, and they are too close to the key cylinder, it can cause a false negative for the programmed keys.

Have you tried another key ?

Are there any other modifications to the truck ( remote start, or security system ) ?

The security light is blinking and when you try to start it there is nothing, new battery, starter, it simply is not getting power to start it..It seems like it is a security lock out.. dont know where to...

Normally, you would insert the key in the drivers door, turn left, then right to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning, you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
light green with a negative polarity at the harness coming out of the door in the driver's side kick panel.

Once Located, splice into this wire with a similar guage wire, and put it to a solid chassis ground. This terminates the OEM alarm functions entirely.

OR:

Bulb Stays Illuminated and Engine Does Not Start. If the "SECURITY" indicator stays illuminated while and after attempting to start the engine and the engine does not crank or start, this indicates that the PASS-Key II module has sensed an improper key value and has disabled the engine and set the disable timer. This specifically does not mean that the key sense circuit is open or shorted to chassis ground, refer to "Bulb Flashes and Engine Does Not Start." Remove the key from the ignition and verify that is the correct key code for the vehicle. The key code may be checked using J 35628-A and comparing the key code to that of other keys for the vehicle. After waiting approximately 3 minutes for the disable time to expire and the "SECURITY" indicator to go out, try to start the engine with a known good key with the proper key code.

Bulb Flashes and Engine Does Not Start. If the "SECURITY" indicator flashes once per second and the engine does not start, this indicates that the PASS-Key II module sensed an open, a short or otherwise invalid (value matched none of the available 15 key codes) input from the ignition key resistor input. The PASS-Key II module does not start the disable timer during this operation mode. This operation mode could also be caused by a malfunctioning power or ground circuits.

OR:

There is 2 more ways to fix the problem:

1) replace key cylinder (very difficult)

2) look for 2 small white wires encased in an orange cover at the bottom of the steering column at the big steering column connector. Cut the two small white wires and connect a resistor of the same resistance of your key chip onto the two white wires leading into the connector. Problem solved!
