Where is the fuel filter located please
RIGHT REAR in a box by the Secondary Pump Under the car

look under car on water pump housing, the thermostat is on a metal housing that looks like an igloo and has to bolts perhaps 10mm or 13mm, and an "O" ring in between

There is 2 locations for that car.
#1 under hood passenger side, front side of shock tower,with fuel line connected to it.
#2 under car driver side, below seating area,front of fuel tank mounted on chassis. If you have the 90 Qauttro,it's under hood,pass. side, front side of strut tower, mounted on fender well.

Fuses are located by the side of the dash board when you open the driver's door. The fuel pump fuse is situated in there.

We had to remove the glove box first then on the centre consol there is a small removal plate, remove this and locate the filters. There are two .

On a 2001 Audi TT Quattro the fuel filter is located forward of the fuel tank, in the right rear wheel well area. The fuel line clamps are a bit tricky. The change will improve performance. The owners manual does not even list changing the filter. But do it! use a Fram, and it fit perfectly. Good luck.
