The drivers side window can be opperated from the drivers side. The passanger side window does not opperate from either side . It appears that the window lock safety swith on the drivers side is not opperating as you do not hear the clunk of it opperating (similar to the sound of the door **** coming on )

I beleive it is a silent switch. You should see it sit lower when locked. If not a loose connection, the master switch needs replacing.

If the problem was with the lock you would still be able to raise or lower the window from the drivers seat, most likely the window motor has burned up,I would try pulling the door panel and tap the motor most times they will work for awhile, but ebay has the whole window regulator with motor for 99.00 I had to replace both driver and passenger in my 01 grand cherokee.was a1auto I think on ebay.

Driver side window will not go up

while opperating the switch... bang on the door to shake the power window motor a bit... This should allow you a last chance to roll the window up before you have time to get the window motor replaced.

Oil pressure on 2003 Chevrolet s-10 2.2l engine

A repair manual will or should tell what the normal opperating pressures are at specified rpm. With engine at normal opperating temps. If the engine has high milege the pressures wil be a bit lower than at normal opperating range, when new.So if you are 15 or 20 psi lower, then you may just have normal wear on items, such as the rod, main, and cam bearings. And the pump itself will wear and loose some tolerance or oil clearence as the other items mentioned. The pump however, does have a pressure relief valve in side the body, on the pressure side, but you may not be able to alter the releif valve, buy changing spring tension. You could replace the pump, first, before doing a major overhaul.

If this is the case, it is the power switch, which needs to be replaced for that specific window such exm. rear passenger, front passenger, rear driver, or master. Just replace the power switchfor that specific window and it should work. I have the same promblem and this is 99.9 percent solution to fix this promblem
