It has a couple of small chunks in the trim. What would be the best to fill the chunks in with? Maybe wood putty, I'm not sure since it's fake wood. Any suggestions?

How to install a aftermarket CD player in a 1997 Audi a4

hi, your best bet is to go to a stereo sales place like best buy and get an install kit specifically for your car, that way there is no cutting wires, everything will just plug right in and they sell kits that will allow you to install aftermarket units directly into the dash without cutting anything. Very professional.

1999 Audi A4 Climate Control Removal/Installation

You have to remove the trim panel around the stereo/climate control to expose the screws that hold it in place. Once you do that, and the screws are removed, it pulls straight out and unplugs. No need to disconnect the battery and no tricks to it once it slides out.

What kind of noise? Is it a humming noise that gets louder as the road speed increases? If so, it's a wheel bearing - A4s eat wheel bearings like popcorn.

Fitting a mongoose keyless entry system

It's doubtful, but your best bet would be to consult with a dealer of Mongoose products, an independent stereo shop, or search the various Audi owners' forums (,, etc) - chances are someone there has a similar system and may be able to help you out.
