Question about 1997 Ford Explorer AWD
I just purchased a 1997 Ford Explorer 2WD V6. The speedometer wasn't working. Since then it has worked for one full day and on the 7 mile drive to work. Any idea how to fix this? And why it has been inconsistent?
It should be the speedometer sensor connected to the tranny. it is easy to get at. and it should cost less then 40.00 dollars.when you drive the explorer. wind wiggles the wires around under the truck making it work sometimes.
