'89 Bronco fuel pump has been changed on frame; fuel relay has been changed. Will cut off after a few miles. After cooling down will run fine for a couple more miles. Acts similar to vapor locking in old models. HELP!
I Would check for spark when it dies.If it has spark then check fuel pressure. if no spark it could be a coil or module getting hot and quitting. if it has spark it could be **** in the fuel tank plugging the fuel sock. when the vehicle dies the sediment settles back down to the bottom of tank. last but not least fuel pump relay could be getting hot. so it is important to know if it has lost spark or fuel pressure when it dies.
