How do you remove the middle bench seat on 2001 ford windstar? I already removed the 3rd row bench seat but the middle one has seatbelts attached to it and I can't figure out how to get them off the seat...

ok if you can see were they are bolt to the floor remove it from there and take the seat out with it,now if that seat is hold down by going in a slot and with a lever you pull or push to take out just do what you have to remove the seat

2006 grand cherokee seat belt

Have the same problem in my 98 Toyota Rav4. I squirted the female buckle (bolted to seat, not holding strap harness) with wannabe WD-40 lubricant from the $1 store, and it seem to have solved the problem. I'm guessing the spring mechanism is worn out, which is why the harness buckle won't lock. Another solution is to replace the female lock buckle with an identical part from the used parts junkyard store.

The seatbelt light on the dash stays "on," even when everyone has their belt on, but I don't bother servicing that. If yours have an audible alarm instead of an indicator light on the dash, locate the source of the alarm sound and disconnect the wires to silence the sound.

How do i unlock my seat belts on my 2006 malibu after car accident

You can't unlock the seatbelts. They have an explosive charge built in that goes off like an airbag, locking up the belts on impact. You will have to replace all your locked up seatbelts.

Rear seatbelts jammed down backseats

hello tracieandmia, I am assuming that the seatbelt buckles are just underneath the seat. The rear seat bottem can be removed for access. If you reach under the front part of the seat bottem near each corner and lift up, the seat will release. You will need to give it a little yank and use a little force for it to release. Once each corner is released you can remove the seat bottem. To install the seat, slide it back under the seat back and push hard down on each front corner that you had previuosly pulled up at. You should hear a definite click/lock sound when the catches are locked.
