Where is the abs plug on pontiac aztek

The sensors are made right into thee heel bearing hub assembly on this. The plug on the rear is right on the bearing assembly. The front you just follow the wire coming off of the hub. If you do have to replace this hub due to a sensor, don't get a cheap one to fix it. Those go out within about a year and then you just have a wheel bearing problem which is more dangerous than an abs issue.

Front wheel bearing replacement. how big a job? are abs hub and non-abs hub interchangeable?

technically ,,,, theres no abs hub or non abs hub.... All of the ABS components are up by the master cylinder... What you are seeing is a Speed sensor ... just unbolt brake caliper and remove the 3 or 4 bolts that hold on the hub assembly on ... and reverse order to put back on .... and as long as you dont loosen the brake line you wont have to bleed the brakes .... should only take a hour or two ...

    Service vehicle soon

all these lights are probably associated with the abs.. have the abs scanned at an autozone or another shop and probably will determine a front hub assembly (abs sensor ) is bad.

Rear Wheel Bearing Repair; 2005 pontiac aztek

    Remove the brake caliper
    Remove the disc, (rotor)
Remove the 34mm nut on the axel shaft
Remove the three (3) bolts from the back side
You will need a wheel puller (three jaw will work well)
Place the puller over the hub and tighten, this will push the shaft out of the hub. Now you have to pull the hub assy. out of the mounting bracket. I found hitting each side,of the hub with a lead hammer to work well. Don't forget to disconnect the ABS senser on the back side of the hub assy.
Do not over tighten the 34mm axel nut when you install the new assy. If you use an impact whrench on it you will damage the bearing.
