Question about 1997 GMC Safari
I noticed that the alt needle would go up and down with the fuel gauge needle(which has been working intermitently) when I would rev the engine the needle would go down, then go back up to 14vlts when idleing. Alternator problem?
Have alternator bench tested, could be the alt., test to confirm. Issue could also be bad wiring or faulty gauge cluster.
