If this is the V6 engine, your oil filter should be a canister type filter, it should be located on the passenger side, underneath at the front of the engine. You should see what looks like a black cap (about the size of an oil filter) your oil filter is located inside this canister. Hope this helps.

I assume that you have a 1.8 engine. The oil filter is in a round metal housing under the engine; you have to remove the housing to access the cartridge type oil filter; the 1.8s do not have a "spin-on" filter.

it is located behind the glove box. remove the screw holding the strut on the glove box. Squeeze sides of glovebox together to remove from dash. look into hole where the glove box was There is a removable panel for the air filter. take it out and pull out the filter. make sure you note which way the filter is oriented. push in new filter and replace cover and glove box.

Your tranny filter, is located inside your tranny...You have to take off the tranny pan, and then you can replace the filter, and the tranny gasket..

Used walmart oil filter. bought wrench from sear...metal sling, but no grip.always slips


Wrap duck tape around the oil filter and replace the oil filter wrench with the adjustable strap type. There more forgiving and tend not to crush the oil filter if it's on to tight. Good luck and keep me posted.
