Question about 1998 Dodge Stratus

1998 dodge stratus bogs while accelerating

While driving especially after stopping and then going it bogs and jerks untill i get up to speed. The check engine light strts to continuisely flash untill i get up to speed then it stops.

    I am getting check engine light codes P0204 and P0304. The car jerks while it is running and seems to not be getting enough power.

My 2004 dodge stratus bogs upon acceleration.


Possible vacuum leak or bad (TPS) Throttle position sensor. Dirty throttle body aswell. Its an 04 stratus? Go trade for a better brand of car. Anything really. A KIA would be better.

You need to get the engine trouble codes by performing the "keydance" or using a code reader, then start checking fuel pressure at pump and regulator. Best luck. Amclaussen.

could be clogged fuel filter or low fuel pressure due to a weak pump or fuel pressure regulator.
