Now, I know what to do next time when I have this problem as emergency solution.

I guess my next question is if the car still have the problem?

or is fixed for ever? or I have to take the car to the dealer mecanic to prevent this problem in the future? and how much is the cost approximately?
    Thanks again.

It could be a security problem here is the procedure

10 Minute Learn Procedure

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON, vehicle will not start.
  3. Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
  4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
  5. The vehicle is now ready to relearn the PasslockTM Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. Important: The vehicle learns the PasslockTM Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.
  6. Start the engine, the vehicle has now learned the PasslockTM Sensor Data Code and/or password.
  7. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed, history DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.

Ecu not giving signal to injectors?

Hi Daw, As you've already checked the crankshaft sensor, sounds to me as if the problem may be from the camshaft pickup sensor. If that one also proves fine you'll need to have the anti theft system re-coded. The anti theft unit cuts the injection. Regards John

2003 ford ranger theft light blinking and won't start

the anti-theft has been activated and needs to be reset.you may have to get it to a shop that has the tools to do this or go to the dealer to get it done.did you use a key that was cut as a spare and doesn`t have a chip in it.this usually can cause this.also if the wires at the switch break it can activate the anti-theft system.

This keeps sending me in circles....how do I get an answer??? Code for 1998 Pontiac Grand Am...vin # 1G2NW12T8WC752588...5 speed, manual transmission, stick on the floor. Need Anti-Theft code to enter

There is no code to enter. Turn your ignition to the run position for about 10 minutes. This programs the anti-theft module to the key. If this doesn't help, you have a problem with the anti-theft components, and probably should take it to a professional to diagnose and repair.

My car won't start, have had no problems it was running fine, pulled into the driveway shut it off, then an hour later it would not start. My anti theft light flashes excessively fast when I put the...

Absolutely! If the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) "thinks" you are trying to steal the car, it is SUPPOSED to keep it from starting. The problem is that the PATS thinks you are a car theif when you are not.
Below is a table straight out of the service manual for your vehicle. Please note that the FIRST action that must be taken for any PATS system malfunction is to scan the computer system for fault codes.

My friend replaced the positive terminal cable on her 2005 nissan altima with a positive terminal cable from the factory and now the car won't start at all. There is power to all the fuses and the battery...

Hello.
It is very likely that the terminal is fine. Many vehicle owners are not aware that the newer factory installed anti-theft systems will lock down the car, ( prevent it from starting ), if the battery is disconnected for more than just a couple of minutes. In the future if you need to disconnect the battery, make sure that you dis-arm the anti-theft system first

You should be able to find out how to dis-arm/over-ride the anti-theft system in your owners manual.

I hope this helps you.

The car doesn´t start the battery is ok fuees ok

Do you have any check engine lights on? Is your anti-theft light flashing? If so, put key in igniton, turn to on (NOT START) leave in on position for EXACTLY 10 MINUTES
As SOON as theft light turns off, try to start.

There is a problem with your key.
