Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 93 limited and have paid 3 different people to fix this jeep. Had tune up, new fuel filter & pump, and just recently the alarm system bypassed! Everytime I drive away it runs fine till I'm down the street and it starts to act up again! It feels like it's going to run out of gas..it bucks, backfires, and spudders! I pull over, hit the gas tank a couple of times, and then it runs like a charm for about a mile then does it all over again! Please help..I can't afford to spend anymore $$ on this jeep! Any ideas or help would be appreciated!
I would say the connector may have an issue, either it is not locked into the tank connector or the connector terminals are loose or corroded, also u didn't say if the just the electric pump was replaced or the entire fuel pump module which comes pre wired. By all means I would take it back and have them look at it, they should do this for free is they are not a fly by night shop.
