Question about 2008 Chevrolet Hhr
My 09' hhr did not come with fog lights. i bought oem lights and need to find out if wiring is plug and play or do i need to wire from scratch i.e. pig tails, relay, fuse switch etc.
You will need to completely wire your own setup. The "stock" fog lights on the HHRs are wired through the Body Control Module computer which can not be reprogrammed without being replaced. Cost of the computer is over $300 and certainly NOT worth it for a set of fog lights. Put in your own switch, wiring, etc. I would highly recommend that you use a relay to power them since the electrical system for the HHR is very sensitive to external additions.
