Question about 1994 Ford Ranger Supercab
I just got a slightly used 1994 Ford Ranger XLT and it has a few problems, such as:
The engine sometimes cuts off after putting it in Drive
The truck stops accelerating after a few minutes, stalls, then starts back up
And finally the windows will not roll up correctly, sometimes falling into the door and sometimes I have to hold the window steady to roll it up.
I'm 18 and this is my first car/truck and I know very little about cars. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or should I just trade it in for another one?
Sounds like corroded ground wires. Locate the ground wires to chassis and body, if they appear rusty or loose, clean with wire brush and liquid wrench and tighten them well.
