Question about 2003 Suzuki Aerio
My keyless, without warning, started this: it works when you get out of the car.....come back 15 minutes later, it won't work at all.
I had the same problem only a few months after I bought the car new in 2003. Dealer fixed it. Then 6 months later same deal. Finally I went to a 3rd party and ordered new different brand remotes and figured out the programming which was quite simple. A serirs of procedures with the door and the key which programmed the devices. 5 years later no problems. Of course before you do anything try replacing the battery in the remote.

Press the "Lock" button on the functioning keyless remote five times, with a two-second interval between each press.
Insert your key into the ignition; turn it to position "3" (Run), without starting the engine. Leave the key in the position until the warning chime stops beeping. This will take a minute or two.
Press and hold "Unlock" on the functioning remote for about five seconds, and then press and hold "Panic" as you continue to hold "Unlock" for about one second; release both buttons. After a few seconds, you will hear a chime.
Press and release "Lock" and "Unlock" simultaneously on the functional remote, and then press and release "Unlock" by itself.
Press and release "Lock" and "Unlock" simultaneously on the remote you want to program, and then press and release "Unlock" by itself.
Turn the ignition to "Off" and remove the key to exit synchronization mode.
