Question about 2002 Chrysler Town & Country

Speedometer has quit working.

Recently did a dumb thing which caused the battery to be completely discharged. Got a jump start after which everything else works fine .......except the speedometer. Someone suggested I remove the neg. battery cable for a few minutes to allow the computer to reset. Did this but didn't help. can you?

The voltage of your car's battery and the surge from the other car's battery when you jumped might have been enough to blow the fuse on the electronic speed sensor, or the sensor itself, try locating the fuse box and search for anything to do with sensors or so, if there's nothing wrong there it's the sensor itself, and you'll need to take it to a workshop.
