Question about 1996 Ford Taurus
Battery Light Blinks off and on - then stays off for an hour before it stats to blink again.
This is most commonly caused by a burned/loose alternator connector or a defective rectifier in the alternator itself, have the battery tested as well, if the battery is LOW OR STARTING TO GO OUT IT CAN RUIN THE ABOVE PARTS FROM OVERHEATING OF THE ALTERNATOR, Kragen and Autozone do this charging system test for free, but still check the alternator connections.
