Re: car wont start up right away
Crank or cam sensor probably as plugs bad plugs would start but miss the sensor will either give a start or no start condition and on 1 truck the crank sensor went out and it would run cold but miss like crazy when warm,I work in a chyrsler shop and have never seen that happen and even a scan tool didn't pick it up.

try the spare key in case its the chip in the key playing up for whatever reason if spare key doesnt work then check to see if the immobilisor light is on ,Now also of course if the temperature is too cold what can happen in extreme circumstances is a micro chip malfunction where they fail in the cold and if this is the case then push car into teh garage and let it warm up gently and it should start ,been getting this a lot with other things as well because of the cold and cheap chinese micro chips so your not the only one. Also keep car keys away from any electro magnetic source like tv screens and body scanners magnets and most of all a tesla induction battery charger ,be surprised how many people try to recharge their remote car keys on o0ne of these type of charger .
When is really cold, and vehicles with non electrical power steering start for the first time after a good period of inactivity the power steering pump tents to wine, that is normal, some other cars or almost all the cars when they pass 100.000 miles develop a little metallic noise that goes away when the oil pump distributes and lubricates all moving parts inside the engine when the car starts first thing in the morning in a really cold morning.
Hi, this could be something in the fuel pump. As the cold motor draws more fuel, it may just be just ok for the engine, but after it is warm, it draws less and may "suffocate" it that way. Same goes for air filter, take a peek if it is not ready for replacement. Has this happened suddenly, or has it occurrend during a long perion of time?
the problem must be with the batteries. check the voltage levels of the battery using a voltmeter. if it goes lower that 10v and fast dying, then replace them. and also check the alternator charging the battery for any charging problem.
I would have the computer scanned ( no SERVICE LIGHTS right ? ) looking for an errant coolant sensor not telling the computer to give your vehicle a bit RICHER ( a little bit more fuel ), since it does start. Just has POOR cold drive away. Hope this helps
if your car is 2003+ try turning the key to run (but not crank) then to acc. 3 times and the engine codes will show up on the odometer, then you can look up what those codes are to help diagnose some of the problems.
