It shouldn't be too hard to remove. If you still have the manual, it should have instructions on how to remove it. If you don't have that though, you should go talk to a mechanic to see what they can do for you. Generally they'll be able to remove it no problem. Hopefully it isn't too hard for you to get this resolved.

The bed extenders I have experience with on Ford vehicles have two tabs that are beside the pivot pin. If this one is like them you just push the tabs toward the side and then pull up or push down (this depends on the way it was last installed) on the bed extender.

When removing the bed off are 2004 ford sport trac there was a broken ground wire

You should certainly replace or repair it. Lights and other things do not have 2 wires to them - one for the power and one for ground - cars use the grounded chassis to complete the circuit.
You won't hurt anything at all by replacing or repairing.

How to i get to the rear turn signal bulb to replace it? This is for a 2004 Ford Sport Trac.

I own a 2004 sport trac and replaced the taillights with aftermarket ones and its really easy... first, let your tailgate down. you should see two little rubber peices that you cant see with the gate up. pull this rubber peices out to get to the screws behind them. Unscrew them, and pull your taillight assembly out.
